power-point update

- school is the same, except i'm on academic probation. i played beethoven 4 I and a mozart aria with tito-orchestra and a baritone for the hurricane benefit concert. i'm playing first on beethoven 6 with dong, which is going to be performed next friday. you should come.

- i rescued a kitten from the bodega/illegal liquor shop on dyckman street. his name is oliver and he is mostly black with little white ankle-socks on his front paws and little white knee-socks on his back legs, in addition to some white markings on his underside. he is very, very cute.

- i took a lesson with the principal flutist of the MET orchestra (parloff) today in a musicians' locker room at the opera house. we worked on my intonation the whole lesson; "you have a nice sound, and a good musical sense... you play well, you should be picky." he was super nice and he played my flute and i played his flute. i've also had 2 lessons with KU, one two hours+ last week and the one today, one hour+. i've been practicing a lot.
